Assistance
We provide telematic reporting services in the area of Uro-Radiology (CT, MRI, PET CT with choline, PET CT with PSMA), both nationally and internationally (for the latter, please consult options).
Our team of Uro-Radiologists is continuously training and updating, adopting an interdisciplinary approach. This allows us to provide high-quality service, responding assertively to the needs of referring physicians.
Consulting
We offer second opinions and supervisory services on radiological reports at both national and international levels.
We support the implementation of Uro-Radiology areas in radiology services, primarily related to prostate pathology (prostate MRI, prostate biopsy by fusion, nuclear medicine, etc.).
For centers that are just starting with imaging diagnostics for prostate pathology, we provide support with second readings at an agreed-upon time.
Teaching
Our team has a strong teaching vocation, with experience both nationally and internationally. Since we work in institutions with high case volumes and cutting-edge technology, in constant interaction with all professionals involved in the diagnostic-therapeutic circuit of urological pathology, we compile teaching material of the highest value. This material is used for both in-person and virtual training.
In-person training is conducted in Barcelona, both in UROIMA’s Telework space (located in the heart of the Poble Nou district) and at the Creu Blanca Clinic (located in the Sarrià district). Both centers have excellent public transport connections to the city center.
Virtual training, available from any geographical location with total scheduling flexibility, allows specialist physicians to access continuous training and updates that fit their professional and personal schedules.
Research
We develop research projects, primarily in the area of prostate pathology, backed by our extensive case studies, cutting-edge technology, and methodological rigor. Currently, our main research line focuses on the diagnosis of prostate cancer through MRI and robotic fusion biopsy.
